The Scale

The scale may be the most important factor to consider when picking out your jewelry. Your outfit and jewelry pieces should balance each other out rather than competing for attention. Small, simple jewelry works best with busy patterns, sequins and ruffles. A simple pair of stud earrings or a solid bracelet would love great with these outfits.

The Skin Tone

In general, you want to keep your clothes and accessories either in the same colour family or on opposite sides of the colour wheel.
